The Tree A channeled message from the Great Council of the Grandmothers
Imagine a beautiful tree, one like you find in a garden or in a park. As we begin to examine the tree, we will first take a look at the Trunk of the tree. The trunk of this tree represents the beautiful masculine energy of Yang. The Grandmothers tell us that Yang energy is shaped like a Square and it is Linear. It moves in the direction of up for growth and it moves in the forward direction to create change. When I speak of the masculine, I am speaking about the Yang energy and not specifically of Man. Man are the primary carriers of Yang energy. Woman also carries this energy, though to a lesser degree. Imagine now, as we go up to the top of the tree, to the branches, reaching outward, reaching up to the sky, connecting with the light. The grandmothers say that this canopy of the tree is like the Yin energy. This is the feminine energy. This is the energy that reaches out and expands. It collects the light (Divine Inspiration) and sends it into the trunk, and from the trunk into the roots, deep down into the earth. Yin Energy is expansive like the canopy of a tree. It is fluid like a river in flow, and like the river that flows around a stone, it can soften the rough edges of whatever it comes in contact with. Yin energy is also strong like the roots of a tree, it can hold and ground us to the earth. It can ground that very inspiration that was collected from the light. Yin energy brings in divine intuition, divine inspiration, it brings in the light, it spreads, grows, and is creative. So now we have the beautiful canopy of the tree that is the Yin energy and the strong trunk of the tree that is the Yang energy. But what holds this tree solid to the earth is the roots of the tree, this is also the feminine Yin energy. It is deeply connected with the Earth. This energy keeps one in communion with the earth and in doing so it holds and supports the masculine, the trunk of the tree so it can grow tall and create the change that is necessary in the world. Together, we have the wholeness of being. The wholeness of the Man, the wholeness of the Woman. They are both whole and complete when they hold both the masculine and the feminine energy in balance. The Grandmothers share what it's like when we are in one or the other, but not in the combined energies. Let us go back to the trunk of the tree. Imagine that there is a storm and our tree is only supported by the Yang energy. For some reason our roots have been depleted as Yin energy has been depleted here on the planet.. So we have a trunk but it's not rooted to the earth with it's own divine feminine energy. Then a storm comes and something happens in our lives that pushes against us and this beautiful tree doesn't have it's roots to ground it to the earth and it doesn't have that beautiful canopy to give it divine inspiration. So it does only what it knows how to do which is to go back and forth or up and down. Then when it's pushed, all it can do is roll down the hill not knowing what it is actually rolling over on it's way down because it doesn't have the divine inspiration guiding it's way . This is how we get out of balance. Not knowing what we have even done yet we can cause damage along the way. In this energy alone we feel we are not being supported in life. Where is those roots to support me, where is the inspiration and that light in my life? Why can't I hear the answers? The grandmothers say it's not your fault. It is not our fault. There is no fault here on this planet. It is just what happens when we are out of balance. When we are Yin deficient. Now lets take a view of the feminine Yin energy without the masculine Yang energy. Here we are, we have this beautiful inspiration coming in and we are so connected with the Universe, we are so connected with spirit. We are full of inspiration and our hearts hold such desire to bring forth into the planet our visions and to create something wonderful on the planet. What is happening here is that we are just in our Yin energy and we are not connected to that strong trunk that transports this energy to the earth so that we can ground it into the earth to manifest these visions. We are missing that critical piece called action, or taking action. Remember, it is the Masculine energy that moves things forward. It is the masculine energy that helps to create change. If we are not connected to the trunk, that strength to move us forward, then when we receive that divine inspiration, it has no where to go. We need that trunk which is action to ground our inspiration on the earth. So what we are missing is inspiration grounded into action. When you are sitting solely in Yin energy, you are feeling wonderful up there on the canopy with all that light, but you are not fully in your body, not fully connected to the earth. We are divinely connected and this is wonderful, but we need to manifest what it is that we are divinely inspired to create. Have any of you ever felt that you had such great visions but you didn't know how to bring them forth? What is needed is the Yang energy. It is action that is needed to bring it forth and creating change so that we can manifest it here on the earth. So if we are not in our bodies or not fully grounded then nothing gets done and a vision stays a vision which never comes into reality. This is what it feels like to be only in Yin. You are connected to the divine, and that feels wonderful, but frustrated that nothing is happening for you. The grandmothers teach us to be balanced in both energies. To be in divine connection, to be fully in our bodies, to ground and put our roots deep into the earth. The earth gives us everything we need to bring forth something in the physical. The chairs that you sit on are made of wood, the fabric of your clothes are made from cotton, the food on your table that you ate today is of the earth. Our bodies come from the earth and they go back to the earth when you are done with them. So be fully grounded in your body. Let your roots go deep, deep, deep, into the earth so that when you bring forth your inspiration you can be fully connected with the divine and get that inner guidance, that intuition that you trust and follow every time. Then bring the inspiration forth by taking that masculine energy and grounding it in action. This is being what I call being Whole and Complete, the whole tree of life.
